Happy New Year!
For many of us, a new year symbolizes an opportunity to make needed changes in our lives. Many of our “New Year’s resolutions” aren’t new ideas at all, just reaffirmations of values and habits we already know would benefit us to live out. Often, what we need isn’t new information or novel ideas, but rather faithful, intentional commitment to what we already know is good, right, and true. And that’s why we’re beginning 2026 with a refresher on what we’re about as a church—our commitment to LOVE God through a life of worship; GROW together as disciples of Christ; and INSPIRE others to follow Jesus. If you’re new to our church family, this month will provide you some strategic orientation to our mission. And if you’ve been with us for a while, I hope you’ll see this month as a reminder that—like healthy eating, regular exercise, and wise money habits—the fundamentals of following Jesus and living in spiritual community never change. Together, let’s make this a year of purpose and growth!
Yours and His,
Matt Giebler
Senior Minister
January 2026
