Every believer is called to inspire others to follow Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20), so we need to understand, embrace, and be able to articulate God’s gospel (good news) message of salvation through Jesus. But the gospel is not a one-size-fits-all, step-by-step formula. Our goal is always to lead others to Jesus, but people come from many different places and backgrounds, so the paths we take in getting them there will vary. As we develop friendships with our ONEs and discover their stories, we need the Holy Spirit’s help in discerning the appropriate next steps in those conversations.
