SUPPORT GROUPS
Help
for those who are going through a divorce
Just about 43
percent of the population in America has experienced divorce. Many
more people
have been touched by divorce’s painful results. Because divorce hurts people and
destroys families God hates it.
The Good news is that no matter what this world
or other people may do to us they cannot separate us from Jesus’ love. If you
have experienced divorce and are hurting Greenwood Christian Church is starting
a ministry to help you deal with the pain and look forward to rebuilding your
life with
others who are experiencing the same journey.
Divorce Care
is a place of healing and support that features Biblical teaching for
recovering
from divorce and separation. Divorce care will be an ongoing place to equip,
encourage, and support you in the process of putting your life back together and
moving forward. Divorce Care meets on Mondays at 7:00p.m in Room 105A. The
cost is $10.00 (this small fee is to cover the cost of materials and
can be
waived in needed). Contact
Perry Anderson
or call the office for more information.

Help
for those suffering the loss of a loved one
It may be hard for you to feel
optimistic about the future right now.
If you've lost a spouse, child, family
member or friend, you‘ve probably
found that there are not many people who
understand the deep hurt you feel.
That’s the reason for Healing Journey, a special care and support group for
people
grieving the loss of someone close. This group is sponsored by people
who
understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort
and
encouragement during this difficult time.
Healing
Journey meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday night of
each month from
7:00 to 8:30 in room 103. Childcare is provided. For more
information
