HOST MINISTRIES
The Host Ministry includes
everything from the greeters that meet people at the doors, to the welcome
center workers who help people by answering questions. The only
requirements for being part of this
ministry are a big smile, a love for Jesus
and a desire to touch others with Jesus' love in a very positive, personal and
practical way. Below you will find the different ministry openings each with a
brief

Greeters
Greeters are the friendly folks who are positioned
near each entry door to congregation's campus. The
main responsibility it to
give a warm welcome to each person who enters on Sunday's. They also hand out
the worship bulletin as people enter. At times they will get the opportunity to
answer simple questions or to
direct people to the Welcome center for more
information. The time requirement is approximately 15 to 20 minuets per Sunday.
Greeters usually volunteer to serve prior to the worship service that they
regularly attend. The preferred schedule is to serve Every other month.
Welcome Center Worker
Welcome
Center Workers primary responsibility is to cheerfully respond to the needs and
questions of
those who are seeking further information about Greenwood Christian
and it's ministries. This includes answering the phone, and having a general
working knowledge of the Campus. The time requirement is approximately 1 hour
for each Sunday served.
Zone Hosts
There are two types of Zone Hosts, both
are strategically placed to help our guests have a positive and uplifting
experience at Greenwood Christian.
The Worship Center Host
are stationed in the different sections of the Worship Center to greet and give
assistance to the needs of our Guests. These hosts usually serve in the sections
that they generally sit in. The time requirement is 15
minutes prior to the
worship service and 5 minuets after worship service.
The Foyer Hosts are placed in areas where
people normally gather. Their primary responsibility is to help guests and
regular at tenders find rooms and answer questions in a friendly manner. The time
responsibility is 20 minuets per Sunday. 10 minutes prior to and
after the service you normally participate in.
