Labor of Love – Operation Clean Sweep
After my family (Kathy Stahlhut) experienced the flood and all of the damage it caused, and after experiencing the loving arms of support this church family provided, we would like to pay it forward. Our church will be heading up an effort to provide help and relief for flood victims. We want to wrap our arms around families that need help with demolition, cleaning and rebuilding their homes. We also want to provide food and support to those in need. We have volunteer forms for you to fill out at the Welcome Counter. The forms will allow you to provide your contact information and times you will be available to volunteer to be on a disaster team. We are calling this Labor of Love – Operation Clean Sweep! We will team with area churches to provide labor and manpower to those in our congregation and families in our community whose houses have been destroyed by the flood.
